Twitter Introduces Direct Message Syncing

At long last Twitter have introduced what appears to be a fairly simple feature, one which has frustrated countless users who interact with Twitter via a range of different devices. Now when you open direct messages, either through the website or using a mobile client you’ll now longer need to mark the DM as read on other devices, notifications will be synced across devices so you’re not being notified of direct messages you’ve already read.

It’s a cracking feature, one which has taken an absurd amount of time to land but I’m sure it will be greatly welcomed.
