WordPress Tips: Show More Than 20 Posts / Pages

By default when interacting with both Posts & Pages within the WordPress dashboard, the index of either section defaults to list 20 items. From past experience it’s not always convenient, especially if you’re dealing with multiple nested pages which begin to get paginated. Built into WordPress is a very simple option which allows you to increase or decrease this limit to whatever suits your needs, which many users don’t know about.

  1. Head to either the Posts or Pages index page
  2. At the top right of the window select the ‘Screen Options’ tab
  3. Override the default value and apply the change.

As I say it’s so simple but not widely know.
