When we work with businesses to develop their social media strategy, access and team management is as important as the social media content strategies we create. Who in the organisation knows the passwords? Who in your organisation can post updates?
These are questions that the folk at HMV might be wondering, after their Twitter account was hi-jacked in an effort to show the fight of the staff who face grim, jobless prospects. It was a spectacular (though quite sad) demonstration of Twitter gone wrong (or right, depending on your stance).
