Didn’t make it to Prolific North? Don’t worry, we’ll give you a catch up on everything you missed out on! Our MD, Nathaniel Cassidy and Technical Director, James Duffell attended the event and caught some of the best bits on show.
Prolific North Live is the North’s leading expo when it comes to marketing, tech, PR and all things digital. Leading experts from companies such as Paddy Power, Virgin Trains, Cabinet Office and Microsoft looked to inspire attendees with talks about cutting edge technologies and valuable insights into these huge brands.
In the past we’ve found the talks to be the focus of our visit to Prolific North, this year we felt there was a greater emphasis on marketing agency support services and products, so we picked up a number of potential partners and new services! We’ve started following up with these suppliers and look forward to seeing how they will help streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
Here’s what James Duffell had to say about the event,”It was a great opportunity to see what new and exciting products were being brought to the market from local and national businesses and seeing how we can create strong partnerships to benefit our client base. Seeing how competitors present themselves is always of great interest and is always reassuring to confirm that we’re comfortable that our approach is usually on the next level.
We also created a Snapchat Geofilter covering the event! We use Snapchat filters for a range of purposes, whether it’s increasing the reach of an event, supporting the launch of a product or engaging with customers (and potential ones). The options are endless.
We used a Snapchat filter to increase awareness of 3ManFactory amongst marketers attending the event while offering a glimpse of our design and marketing capabilities.
It’s impossible to talk to everyone at an event, therefore a Snapchat filter is an easy way to ensure you reach a number of people who you weren’t able to talk to directly. It can also help carry the conversation from offline to online.
If you get creative enough with the design (think fun and playful), it increases the likelihood that others will share filter on their stories and with others, thus increasing your reach exponentially. A Snapchat filter can make a really lasting impression amongst your intended audience for a relatively low cost. Snapchat also offers a basic analytics of filters that includes views, uses and reach.
