Creative Lancashire, the wing of Lancashire County Council responsible for supporting creative businesses in the county wanted to push attendance for their flagship event, BIG Conference, while extending it’s reach online during it.
Prior to the event we planned and executed a targeted social media campaign, pushing event sign-ups. On the day of the event itself, we took the helm of the twitter account, pushing event hashtags microblogging and encouraging conversation from delegates and speakers alike. We supplemented our content with photography to give a real feel for the event to those not in attendance.
The campaign went well – we increased ticket sales, quickly. Not only that, but we almost doubled site traffic and increased new visitors specifically, extending Creative Lancashire’s messages as far as possible.
