The University of Central Lancashire were struggling to get applicants for their engineering courses from certain demographics, and they wanted to change this. They were running a social media advertising campaign – but they had no creative that adequately supported their aims.
To help us get the most information across in the easiest, most user-friendly way, we created a series of short video ads. Each targeted a different key user group, and used creative copy as part of an animated clip to really sell the course. By subtitling the videos they worked with or without sound (85% of Facebook videos are watched on mute).
It was UCLan’s highest performing ad campaign of the 2015/2016 academic year, all done within less than a week, resulting in a very happy client.
