Verify Your Website on Pinterest
by

Yesterday Pinterest released a brand new feature to its user: the ability to verify your website is now enabled for all users, which is a nice change from other services such as Facebook & Twitter, which tend to release new features in waves to their users.
Verification alters the way your website is displayed on your profile and more importantly, reassures users that your profile is legitimate. Below is our profile looked like before being approved, followed by how our URL is represented after verification (including the verification tick icon).
Steps to verify your website with Pinterest
- Login to your Pinterest account and head to ‘settings’
- Scroll to the website field and select the option ‘verify website’ next to the field
- Download the HTML verification file (it’s a unique file for you)
- Upload this file to the home directory of the site you wish to verify
- Click the verify link once you’ve completed the above steps and that’s it – you’re done!
