I was recently invited by the Lancashire Evening Post to partake in a Leader’s Lunch debate around the topic of youth unemployment along with other representatives of Lancashire’s business community. These included Adrian Roscoe (Business Development Manager at Runshaw College), Jeff Taylor (Regional Director at Hays), Lis Smith (Principal at Preston College) , Fiona Riley (Conlon Construction) and Gillian Beeley (Preston Vocational Centre) and, of course, me. My role was to represent the enterprising and entrepreneurial folk of the region.
From discussing my experience of Global Enterprise Week in Sri Lanka and discussing interpreneurial issues with cabinet ministers through to my own motivations and experiences of business, the event is featured in the digital publication of Lancashire Means Business (who you can also follow on Twitter) was filmed and can be viewed below.
