At the start of November Instagram released web profiles. Instagram also released a badges tool at the same time to encourage users to share their profiles online.
The Instagram badges are simple image links which direct users to profile pages and currently don’t allow instant following like many of the other social networks offer.
Instagram have used a blue variation of the much recognised logo (a seeming odd choice, as to many users it may appear unrecognisable). However, there’s also one descriptive option which many users may prefer to use.
If you’d like to add one of these buttons to your website, simply head to instagram.com/accounts/badges and follow the three simple steps and Instagram will create a badge linking directly to your profile.
