The Digital Lancashire Website Sprint at 3ManFactory
by
Tom Stables
Tuesday afternoon we lost part of our office space to a worthy cause.
We gave up our creative space here at 3ManFactory to host a website sprint; thinking space, meeting space and studio space provided us with the perfect environment to plan, design, develop and create content for the Digital Lancashire website (going live very, very soon).
Digital Lancashire is a CIC that aims to provide support, benefits and opportunities to organisations working in or aspiring to work in the digital sector in Lancashire. Its genesis lays in the challenges (skills, training, events, apprenticeships and sector recognition/representation) that a group of digital business owners faced.
In the year since its formation, progress has been incredible. From forming essential relationships with potential stakeholders including universities, colleges, local authorities, skills boards and digital businesses to securing funding, the Digital Lancashire ambition has been inhibited only by nailing down a time to get all the founding directors in a room together.
Belief, ambition and passion runs through everything we do. It’s why Nathaniel is Chair for the PRCA North West group and also a member of the UK PR Council. It’s why Tom was part of the board that launched the Digital Inclusion Charter for Lancashire Country Council. And it’s why Tom is on the board of directors at Digital Lancashire.
If you’re interested in what Digital Lancashire do and would like to be involved, you can leave your details on the holding page.
