We’re starting 2019 with an office move – we’ve packed up our studio and creative spaces on Riversway and taken the leap into the historic Old Docks House, on Watery Lane, Preston.
Joining a plethora of other leading creative agencies, private businesses and public sector organisations, including BrightRED, Marketing Lancashire, Leeds University and the NHS, we’ve taken up residency in the newly renovated Art Deco building, and now live just below the infamous clock tower at Preston Docklands!
Built in 1936, the iconic Lancashire location was once the Port of Preston’s admin centre, and since it was acquired by W_RKSPACE in 2018, it’s renovation has seen many of its ornate, original features, including parquet flooring and original wood panel walls, restored back to life.
Entrenched in history and iconic in the local area, it provides a perfect base for us to get creative; it’s not hard to find inspiration in a space steeped in so much culture. It also means we’re back in the mix; we’re part of a wider business community that promotes collaboration, shared conversation and progressive ways of working.
If you’re passing and you fancy a nosy inside one of Preston’s most famous buildings, pop in for a brew – we’d love to show you around!Read next Wrkspace choose 3manfactory to align their brand identity
